Nyonpur was a colony world of the Rodian species. That world was represented in the Imperial Senate, the legislative body of the Galactic Empire, until Emperor Palpatine disbanded it shortly before the Battle of Yavin. The senator from Nyonpur and his delegation then went into hiding on Mataou, in the Anoat sector.
