Seaking Catching Day is an annual holiday where trainers and Pokémon compete in a fishing competition in the Johto region. In the competition, the trainer must fish out and capture the largest Seaking with the Lake Ball. The winner of the competition gets a trophy and a lifetime supply of chocolate candy bars. When the contest is over, the trainer must release the Seaking they caught under the contest rules.
