Bearing the Emperor's Shame was a technique of the Brotherhood of Shinsei who taught how to enhance the Stealth skills when acting against a Gozoku Agent, or when acting on orders from a legitimate Imperial authority. Even when the acts were against the monk's code of honor, they could overcame the shame because they committed them in the Emperor's name.
