In the 62nd year of the Pendulum Wars, the Kani Province was hit by a drought, and many farms in the region began failing. Many of the farmers went to Narakir to look for work to provide income for their families, but many were unable to find work. Bai Tak was one of those farmers, and he and several other farmers and citizens decided to join the COG Army to provide for their families.
