Gage was a hacker who tried to cheat his way to the top of the Energy Battle Cross video game, only to find himself sucked into the gameworld and trapped in the fabled Hidden Ruins (an ancient temple containing the game data for three unreleased Eco-Energizers and their avatars; Desert and Lion, Taiga and Bull, and River and Whale). He emerged later in the real world as the Navy Whale Ranger, now in possession of all 3 Power Headers of the Lion, Bull, and Whale avatars. While his base Ranger mode is Whale themed, he can switch to Bull Mode or Lion Mode if the need arises. Bull and Lion got taken away.
