The Nightfighters were a squadron of eight starfighter pilots. One pilot was a Jedi Guardian. The squadron was considered less well-known than Rogue Squadron. The Nightfighters' base was located in a small, spaceborne facility concealed inside of a cometary ice mass with a long solar orbit. The facility was staffed with talented mechanics, and outfitted with the best equipment.
