The River Send is a river located in two (or perhaps more) Baronies. It is known to be in the River Barony and the Barony where Lady Oriza lived. In addition, it also flows into the Luddite Wasteland. The river was first mentioned in The Waste Lands and runs alongside the town of River Crossing and before the city of Lud, over which a large bridge (resembling New York City's George Washington bridge) was built by the Old Ones. It then runs over the edge of the massive cliff at the edge of the city leading into the Waste Lands. Roland, Eddie and Susannah see this as they leave Lud riding Blaine the Mono.
