The Clone War were an event that started in 19 BBY. It started when the Trade Federation invaded Naboo. The battle had raged on for many days. It ended when Sabe Amidala captured Viceroy Nute Gunray and Annikin Starkiller destroyed the Droid Control Ship. However, the deactivation of the Battle Droids saved the Gungan army from certain death, but Neimoidian Warriors rose from underneath the ground and prepared to attack the Gungans. At the last second, Annikin and many Jedi Knights arrived with the Grand Army of the Republic formed of Clone troopers. Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi attempted to defeat Darth Maul, but failed when the Sith Lord escaped. Neimoidian forces were ordered to retreat, Gunray was arrested, and Naboo was free once again. But, the Clone Wars had begun.
