Players new to the game, and/or the concept of role-playing sometimes have difficulty establishing themselves in that field, outside of the role-playing context. A player's involvement in NationStates roleplay, generally occurs on The WA, NationStates, or International Incidents forums, and often regional forums, though there are places on The South Pacific forums as well.
