The United States has been heavily isolationist during the period leading up to World War III despite it having been the reigning superpower for Several Decades, this isolationism has seemed to damage the American status as a superpower, leading to it's ultimate downgrade to a "Great Power". However, what has happened that is known to the public has been "Turbulent" as some would say. The American Canal was built during this time on the Mexican-American border, and The secession of Some states which followed the heart attack and shooting of the president following Donald Trump. America has been involved in two wars since the beginning of This Era, The Second Korean War and World War III.
