The Death Manticore is an enemy found in the Dawn of Souls and succeeding versions of the original Final Fantasy. Despite being a relatively weak enemy for the point in the game that you meet them, they have high Agility. Physical attacks are best for defeating them, as they also have fairly high Magic Defense.
