Lieutenant Schneider was a female Starfleet officer during the 2270s. In 2270, Schneider was stationed aboard the USS Enterprise and piloted the Columbus when it helped evacuate Skagway. She was eventually beamed off the ship when colonists swarmed the Enterprise with small craft. (TOS novel: The Rings of Time)
