After the events of Soul Calibur IV, Helen moved to the Americas away from her family for fear that she would go crazy out of her malfestation. Her home became a small abandoned castle, and she eventually started a mercenary guild called the Lions' Pride to aid her in watching for potential Soul Edge servants.
