In the series Transformers Energon, episode 17 specifically. They were used as a new type of Terrorcon built by Alpha Q to help repower Unicron with energon. They take on the form of a velociraptor. Jetfire called them Dinobots, stating that he thought that they were extinct. They were stronger than the original drones captured by Megatron.
