Nation Song Contest 130 was hosted by Hypjø after their NSC 129 victory. The contest had just been in Hypjø two editions prior for NSC 128 (along with Lukeland), so this was the second Hypjør hosting of the decade. This edition was minimalistically themed, with flag colour patterns used for banners and scoreboards on blank strips. Meilutya was able to debut after the removal of Oussou Empire from the roster, Yaaayland and Eterland and were renamed to Westeros and Emsfrõnt respectively, and a load of new people joined Shelley & Nici on their Waiting Iist.
