Long Fangs are a nickname given to a reptilian Rahi by the Rahaga. They are large in size, with powerful, teeth-filled jaws and average about seven feet in length. They prefer to hunt creatures like the Stone Rat, but have been known to also hunt larger prey as well. They used to live beneath the Archives of Metru Nui, but were driven to the surface by the Great Cataclysm to find food. After the Matoran's return to Metru Nui, Turaga Dume wanted the Longfangs trapped, but the Rahaga argued against it, stating they were now part of the city's environment.
