Annis Lofts is the daughter-in-law of Ammon Lofts. She has a son named Herun Lofts. Her grandchildren are Rolond Lofts and Joy Lofts. Annis was very close friends with Ilony Cooper and, due to that friendship, cares for Beka. Obviously she has quite a strong character, as she managed to become her father-in-law's right hand. She also tries to keep her daughter-in-law, Tansy, from acting too foolishly.
