Frightful Presence (Su): An Ekans unsettles foes with its mere presence. The ability takes effect automatically whenever the Ekans attacks, charges, or constricts a victim. Creatures within 60 feet are subject to this effect if they have less HD than the Ekans. A potentially affected creature that succeeds at a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Charisma modifier) is immune to the frightful presence for one day. On a failure, the creature is frightened for 4d6 rounds. Poison (Ex): Bite, (DC 12 + 1/2 HD + Con Modifier) initial and secondary damage 1d6 Strength.
