Halmuris is one of the extra-terrestrial planets that comprise the setting to the Fighting Fantasy gamebook Rebel Planet. It is depicted as being the third planet colonised by Humans. It is known for its extreme climate, tidal surges and general bleakness, and is therefore much less populated than the other planets colonised by humans, Tropos and Radix. Most Humans are research scientists or technical staff, with Halmuris serving merely as a staging post for the first Human expeditions to Arcadion, homeworld of the Arcadian Empire, which soon invaded and occupied Halmuris and the other Human colonies.
