Naruto is the son of Minato Namikaze; the Fourth Hokage of Konoha and Kushina Uzumaki, the Second Jinchuriki of Kurama the Nine-Tails. Through his mother, he is a decendant of the Uzumaki Clan, which was said to be decended from the Senju Clan who are descendants of Ashura, the younger son of the Sage of the Six Paths.
