They were killed by Marduk, who escaped the sarcophagus. SG-1 and another Russian SG team went through the Stargate to locate the team. However, Marduk took one of the Russians as a host, but after finding Transportation rings, SG-1 destroyed the Ziggurat they were in, killing Marduk.
