Carole Nimmons (born December 1942 in Belfast) appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between June 1983 and January 1985 as Sarah Ridley, a director of Newton & Ridley brewery. With an acting CV dating back to the mid-1960s, her long list of credits include roles in The Indian Tales of Rudyard Kipling, The Liver Birds, Public Eye, Crown Court, Within These Walls, Anna Karenina, Grange Hill, Harry's Game, The Gentle Touch, Dempsey and Makepeace, The House of Eliott, Dangerfield, The Bill, Doctors, Mile High, Heartbeat, Casualty and Hollyoaks.
