[Source] Biodegradable Binders were manufactured by the Tagge Company. Constructed of high-strength polymers, they did not feature a traditional locking mechanism, instead employing a one-way clasp that sealed once locked. The binders would then deteriorate in thirty-six hours, although use of a molecular solvent would degrade the binders sooner if needed.
