Charles Rose, also known as Chuck Rose was the world's best Dragon Tamer in present time. It was said to be that he was so good that he could be as great a Dragon Tamer as Patton Burgess. Chuck Rose was supposedly Gavin Rose's father, but it is revealed in book four that Gavin, who was really Navarog, ate him in a Himalayan Dragon Sanctuary.
