Yamato Takeru(ヤマトタケル) is a Japanese anime loosely related to both the live action film and legend about a young boy who goes onto a great adventure that would grant him great powers and understanding his destiny is linked to the world. The series is followed up by two episode OVA "Yamato Takeru ~After War~".
