Prophet Velen was the leader of the Draenei in the Warcraft franchise. He among his colleagues Archimonde and Kil'jaeden were offered power by Sargeras but Velen refused the demon's offering after receiving a vision of Naaru. He led a faction of Draenei that believed in him to come to Draenor. The Deceiver corrupted the orcs into attack Velen and his draenei.
