This is a stronger version of the Red Boss Shield Bat. Due to its range, reflecting and ever-lasting lasers, the boss can be absurdly tough especially for melee characters. Poison type weapons are heavily advised to bring its massive LP pool down. A Purple Crystal 4 and Black Crystal 4 combination can also help. It's recommended to get rid of its pink minions first, then start attacking it as a whole. Ice type weapons can also help lower the amount of damage taken from this boss. Despite this, however, it does not fly and it is not the strongest enemy in the stage because the Blue Big Shield Eel has the strength of more than two of these bosses.
