Born sometime before the First War, Louis grew up in Elwynn Forest. His father was a merchant who lost his life when fleeing from Stormwind to Lordaeron. At a young age, Louis was left with his mother. They eventually returned to Elwynn, albeit Louis had grown into a young man by then. Keen for adventure, Louis set off to explore the wild, untamed wilderness of the Eastern Kingodoms. His latest adventure ended in tragedy, the remains of his camp burned to the ground and his party gone amiss. It's unknown whether or not he still lives.
