Whitemead House is an 11 storey tower block located directly adjacent to the Ashton Gate Stadium on the Ashton Gate Estate on Duckmoor Road, in Ashton Gate, Bristol. Construction of the block began in 1961 and was completed in 1963 by Laing. It contains 63 flats. It took over from Harlech Tower as "Nelson Mandela House" for the BBC series Only Fools and Horses in 1988. Filming locations: ☀
