If you feel the need to become an Admin, you can file a Request for Sysop, which other users will vote in. All RfAs last for one week, and when the week is over the RfA will be finished. If the RfA has a majority in support, then the user will be made an admin. If the RfA has a majority in oppose, then adminship will not be granted. While being an Administrator is "fun" and "neat", keep in mind that the role has many responsibilities, and requires a great deal of time.
