Hollywood 788; ca. 1941; Infants' layette includes abdominal binder, nightgown, saque, kimono, slip and dress. Nightgown has slashed front opening, long sleeves and drawstring hem. Sacque is the shorter length of the kimono, collarless and the sleeves cut shorter and shaped. Kimono has shaped collar and kimono sleeves. Slip with round-neck is buttoned at shoulders and may be feather-stitched or lace-trimmed. Dress is gathered at neck, buttoned at back, and has short puff sleeves.
