The Battle of Tython was an engagement between the New Jedi Order and the New Sith Imperium during the Third Galactic Civil War. The battle was launched when Andraste, the Sith Empress, needed a diversion in order to capture Jedi Master Jhon Cordatus; the Jedi Master had previously faked his death and the death of her daughter, Lana Skywalker, for their protection, but the Empress had learned of Cordatus' survival just before that. Knowing that other Jedi would rush to Cordatus' defense, the Sith attacked Tython to keep them distracted, while Darth Bahlr attacked Cordatus.
