Ilona Selin was a human female from the Outer Rim Territories terrestrial planet of Anchoron. Wanting power, she joined the Galactic Empire. Since it needed more space station operators, Ilona was placed into Battle Station Operations. Ilona was originally stationed on the Adjucator, a Golan II Space Defense Spacegun, as an ensign. It was moved across the galaxy during the Galactic Civil War, and thus Ilona fought the Alliance to Restore the Republic multiple times. After the Battle of Endor, multiple senior officers of her branch were killed aboard the second Death Star. In the resulting power vacuum, Ilona rose up to captain of the Judicator, a Golan III Space Defense Novagun. She quickly was promoted to colonel and given a posting on Battle Station Command.
