Treasure Ships were large ships employed primarily during the Expansionist Era. Operating during times of peace and prosperity, large Treasure Ships would ply the core worlds, carrying luxury goods. Essentially floating Palaces, these luxury ships would cater to an upper class clientele as well as the nobility of several planetary Royal Houses. While this tradition would be revived in the current era, these contemporary ships sadly lack the ambience of their forebears, presenting a worn and even decrepit appearance. See also Galactic trade
