This was the 1926-27 season in English ice hockey: Peter Patton described the season in his 1936 Ice Hockey publication: "In December 1926, Princes Club was re-formed and took a team to St. Moritz, where Davos was played. Injuries caused several members of the English team to be absent from this match, so Davos won 8-0. In April a Belgian team came to the Ice Club and lost a good game against England by 3-1." Another match played that April was a domestic one - the London Lions facing Manchester at the Westminster Ice Club. The Lions were victorious, 4-0.
