His alias in Russia was Viktor Petrov, whereas in America he went by the name of Harold Greene. In Lovia, he adopted the alias Herman Weise. He is supposed to have gone under the spy name Intrepid. His turbulent life (or what is thought to have been his life) is subject of the 1971 spy film Intrepid.
