The Chateau Marmont Hotel is a hotel located at 8221 Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood that was built in 1927 and modeled loosely after the Château d'Amboise in France. On 3 October 2011, George Irving fell to his death from the seventh-floor balcony of room #79 of the Hotel.
