In an alternate where the Cold War ended in a nuclear war in 1967, former Soviet foreign minister Vyacheslav Molotov was a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency in that year. In the home timeline, he had been removed from the Agency in 1961. This change of dates gave some clue to Crosstime researchers as to what exactly had caused the war.
