Lieutenant Hackworth was a Starfleet officer during the Dominion War. In 2375, she was serving at Starfleet Headquarters when she saw that DP-7 wasn't responding to subspace signals. She was still there several minutes later when the Breen attacked San Francisco and leveled headquarters. Presumably, she was killed in the attack. (TNG short story: "Eleven Hours Out")
