Chuck Ryker was a corrections officer who allegedly aided in Hal Lockwood's escape from a courthouse. Neither Beckett nor the officers who'd worked with him had any clue that he was corrupt. One even told Beckett that Ryker had been working up the courage to ask her out. However, he was listed as having issued the order to release Hal Lockwood from administrative segregation. After the escape, his financial records showed that he was massively in debt, and had received a payoff through a series of wire transfers from banks in Dubai shortly after the job was done.
