Sosthene Moguenara (actually Sosthene-Taroum Moguenera born October 17, 1989 ) is a Chadian born German athlete, who competes mainly in the long jump. Earlier in her career, she was a sprinter. From 2006 to 2008, she was three times German youth champion in the 4-by-100 meter relay . After that, she has focused increasingly on the long jump. In 2008, she won the title in this discipline at the German Junior Championships. In May 2012 Moguenara put with 6.88 meters to set a new personal best jump in Wesel and thus qualified for the 2012 Olympics in London .
