In Operation Thunder and Glory, Europa tested an R70 missile launched from a plane against a simulated village on the coast of antarctica. This test was conducted under high secrecy, but Europa had to quarantine the area and make things public in 1975 after extremely high levels of radiation were still present (Radium is 1,000,000 times more radioactive than Uranium). The R70 was replaced with the R80 Missile in 1986.
