Sand Whale and Me is a 5 epiosde mini series from director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ghost In The Shell: S.A.C. 2nd Gig), and Production I.G. (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and 2nd Gig, Blood+, FLCL), and was created exclusively for Toonami, with the first episode airing on it's 20th anniversary.
