Umar Malik appeared on Coronation Street in September 2013 as Naz, who along with friend Josh, met up with Katy Armstrong and Steph Britton. Having graduated in 2012 from Manchester School of Theatre with a BA (Hons) in Acting, other TV credits include roles in Young Dracula and World War 1 A-Z, short films The Line of Freedom and Out of Body, and stage productions of Julius Caesar, Pains of Youth, Twelfth Night and Wanted! Robin Hood.
