False Colors is a science fiction novel set in the universe of Origin Systems' computer game Wing Commander. Published in 1998, the book was written by Andrew Keith and William R. Forstchen, though William H. Keith (Andrew's brother) was incorrectly credited on the front cover. This novel was supposed to be the first part of a trilogy, but Andrew Keith died in an accident before he had time to begin work on the other books.
