Time-manipulated metal is a flat piece of metal which its physical properties have been altered magically. There was never a use for them until toward the end of the Distreyd Era when an enigneer discovered that when converged with an magic-magnetic gem, two people who are physically not within talking distance can communicate over small distances such as towns or small cities. This discovery led to the creation of the Gem Communicator, an inferior version of the more ancient Sight Crystal.
