The Bible is not specific about a lot of things. What the Bible attempts to show is that God is the author and the source of all that exists, in this our universe. This includes life on Earth, in all its forms, mineral, plant, animal and human. The Bible gives a mythic account of creation to deliver a truth, that God creates all. It is not a nomenclature of all things created, but a general telling of the big idea.
