The leader of the cannibals known as the Djindar, the Alpha Male gave chase after Virgil tripped a wire that was connected to a bird's cage. He and most of his tribe were killed by a booby trap Xena created by causing trees and boulders to form a dam at the top of a waterfall. Xena lured the tribesmen to the base of the now dry waterfall and when they were at the bottom, Gabrielle sprung the trap causing tons of water, logs and rock to fall, crushing and drowning the men.
