Gerald Ford was the 38th President of the United States as well as the 40th Vice-president, succeeding in 1974 upon the resignation of Richard Nixon. He ran for a full term on the Republican Party ticket in 1976, but lost the election to Jimmy Carter. An image of Ford appeared in the Terrance and Phillip documentary, where he is shown to be meeting with them at the White House.
