Match Referee's usually remain passive unless a player or players breaks the rules, in which case it calls a Penalty Container, it also calls them if a player argues with its judgement (Micro-Ice showed this in one episode). It has also been questioned if some referee's have been biased to favour some teams (Xenons and Rykers) as in some episodes, the referee's miss some extreme rule breaking.
